Paul and Karla came to know each other in the sixth ChristianCafe.com February 2006 when Paul saw the "Blondie", and wrote her. At first Karl thoughts after reading Paul's self-descriptive profile (where were his accomplishments and goals) that might be a little too intense for her. Paul wrote back happily saying that he understood and wanted Karla good considering that 3 billion people on the planet.
To Paul's surprise, Charles wrote again the next day saying that, after seeing Paul's website, particularly his ministry website, she could not quite escape it. She felt compelled for some reason for Paul writing again. Thus began their correspondence that builds their friendship. Paul is such an interest in Karl that he even wrote a lengthy e-mails daily and that she from Canada, while Paul was on board a cruise with her mom, dad and brother in March. E-mails with a cruise ship in the Caribbean ranged between $ 10 to $ 20 a day, but Paul thought of writing Karla was a good investment.
By March Karl thought it was time for the two to meet to see if there is any chemistry in person. Karl then, against the warnings of some cautious and concerned friends (but with the support of his father), went to Florida to meet Paul.
Paul and Karla had a wonderful time in Florida visiting the beaches, various attractions and getting to know each other. While together, regardless of what they were doing, or where they were, they still had a blast together. They both love to laugh, clown around and happily it was at the water park at a local store or in the car. By the way, "chemistry test" went very well.
In late April and early May, Paul was scheduled to minister in the Netherlands to attend a conference in Paris, France. Since Karla is half Dutch and has always wanted to visit his homeland, Paul did not hesitate to invite her along. Fortunately, Karl was able to get time off work to accompany Paul. It proved to be an incredible journey and Karl Europe first.
They were celebrating Queen's Day in the Netherlands, saw all the sites in Paris, he visited the Mediterranean, and even got a tour of the Monte Carlo Casino in Monaco. This is the most magical experience and one never to be forgotten. Before taking on Charles Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris 7th May, when she was leaving, Paul her from the Eiffel Tower and asked her to marry him.

...So far, Karla and Paul were in the 5 countries together. Given Paul's jet setter lifestyle, Karl pretty much knew that becoming a world traveler is his destiny with him. Paul had to twist her arm a little rubber to get her to agree to such a lifestyle, but her attention to the physical discomfort and occasional light trouble going abroad to minister. Karla did not flinch and remained steadfast in his zeal and determination to marry Paul completely, stating that with him wherever he go May.
